The Vascular Surgery Companion

A Practical Guide for Fellows and Trainees

This book was conceived from my experiences during vascular surgery fellowship as I navigated a demanding learning curve, prepared for complex endovascular and open procedures, and searched for reliable resources to review before cases. Although numerous vascular textbooks exist, I found that few provide concise, procedure-specific summaries that integrate technical steps, clinical reasoning, landmark evidence, and the practical questions that arise in the operating room. This is especially true at the cutting edge: many emerging endovascular and hybrid procedures remain absent from the major textbooks entirely, and these newest interventions are a central focus of this book.
